The transformation of the former Park Place, a 149 bed Assisted Living and Alzheimer’s Facility, into a virtual Oasis of care and comfort is being accomplished by Al Fairfield and The Chaparral Group. Al’s forty-five year history and $1.3 Billion development experience as a developer are evident in the uniquely detailed thirty-one acre environment. Assembling and orchestrating a team of professionals: engineers, architects, contractors, medical specialists, senior living and long term care professionals, Mr. Fairfield has created a Masterpiece of care, comfort, and convenience. It is what many professionals are calling, “The Look of the Future.” A model of comfort and care, an example of efficiency, and an opportunity for physicians to reduce costs and increase the quality of their outcomes; the Oasis Medical Campus offers the finest for all. Presently: Presently there are some 350 seniors living on campus at Meadows Place Senior Village and Oasis Lifestyles Assisted Living and Alzheimer’s Facility. The 182-unit Independent Facility, Meadows Place Senior Village was completed in April of 2005 and already has a population of some 90% plus. On the Kirkwood side there is the newly opened Oasis Urgent Care giving the seniors and the community easy access of medical care. The Oasis Park will become the envy of every facility. The Seniors, the Nine-story Oasis Medical Office Building (both Oasis Medical Office Building I & II), and the Oasis Regional Hospital will face into the Oasis Park. This three-acre park has a “Disney-land” feel. It was created by the landscape artists, Kudela & Weinheimer who created the landscape for the Aquarium, Reliant Stadium, Memorial City Mall and other such notables. The Oasis Park has four lakes with fountains in three and a waterfall in the fourth, an Entertainment Pavilion, gardens, sitting areas, covered walkways connecting the campus amenities and facilities, and much more. It is the focal point of the campus. The Oasis Park is an attraction to families…while getting healthcare or visiting loved ones, what a comforting and inspiring place to be…Oasis Medical Campus. |
